As we prepare to launch Tweed & Tether, I wanted to take a moment to share the journey that’s brought us here and what this new chapter means to me.
I’m Natalie the maker behind the collars and my story with dog accessories actually started over a decade ago. Back then, I was running a small business called Millie & Bailey, creating handmade collars that found homes all across the UK and Europe. It was a creative venture sparked by my love for dogs, design, and the countryside.

Life took me in a different direction for a few years, but I never really let go of that first spark. And now, I’ve found my way back to where it all began this time with a clearer vision, deeper purpose, and a renewed focus on craftsmanship.
Tweed & Tether is rooted in the rural lifestyle that surrounds me every day here in the Cheshire and Staffordshire countryside. From the working dogs in the fields to the quiet charm of winding footpaths, everything I design is shaped by this landscape. I work with heritage tweeds, durable ropes, and solid brass hardware to create dog accessories that are as practical as they are beautiful made for real dogs and real adventures.

This new brand is more than just a fresh look it’s a return to handmade, meaningful work. Each collar and lead is designed to last, to celebrate the bond between you and your dog, and to reflect the timeless rhythm of life lived outdoors.
We’re almost ready to open the doors and I’m so excited to share the collection with you. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes moments, and a few of the stories that inspired the designs.
Thank you for being here at the very beginning.
