Tweed & Tether Size Guide

Measuring Your Dog's Neck

We strongly recommend measuring your dog’s actual neck using a soft, flexible measuring tape. Do not measure an existing collar, as the flat measurement does not reflect the true inner circumference once fastened.

Rope Collar Sizes

Each of our Rope Collars are bespoke and made to measure to your dog's exact neck measurement.
Because the rope's shape and fastenings affect the final fit, it's essential to provide an accurate neck measurement.

Clip & Ring Rope Collars (not adjustable)

  • Wrap the tape snugly (but not tightly) around the your dog’s neck where the collar would sit then add an inch on to this measurement for the perfect size.

Slip Rope Collars (requires 2 measurements)

  • Measurement 1 - Wrap the tape snugly (but not tightly) around the your dog’s neck where the collar would sit. Do not add any measurement to this as this is where the knot will be placed and the collars tightest setting.

  • Measurement 2 - Wrap the tape round the widest part of your dogs head this is where the collar will loosen too to enable it to slip over your dogs head. Make sure to add one inch to this measurement so it slips over both ways easily and comfortably for your dog.
